I’m always very nice to my servers because I understand that they make a living off of their tips and I respect them and the work they do because I know it’s not easy and god knows I couldn’t hack it, but GTFOver it. These are things you should expect working at a restaurant.

And we always get separate checks because no one pays with cash, I’m sure it would be more annoying to hand someone four cards.

How is entering 4 different numbers and scanning 4 different cards more annoying than having to split up the check and then still getting handed 4 different cards and doing the above. Hm, one of these has an extra step that’s bound to be annoying and it’s splitting the check up. I still do this anyway but I tell the server in advance so they can just run the whole thing as separate bills. People who randomly want the bill split at the last minute always seem like assholes.
